PR4 Tech site for sale Starting bid, $50

I started http://www.usbcabless.com a while back with a plan... that never materialized.

had top 10 ranking for usb cables for a while without really trying :) visitor count is low, usually less than 10 per day. revenue is non existant. maybe a couple purchases. I just cancelled my hosting plan (yahoo) so I think at the end of the month the site will drop (hopefully not before). if you want the domain, it is a PR4 domain!!

    Starting bid = $50
    BIN = $500.

Auction ends when I come back to work around 8 or 9 am next Monday :)

Oh yeah, and if you decide you want to sell the actual cables yourself, PM me, I can be a provider. That's not really what I'm selling here with this post, but wanted to make that option known in case you're looking to go retail.

It's still loading for me in FF, so I applogize to those of you not able to load it. not sure why :(

Honey, Patrick, and everyone else. It's currently registered and hosted at Yahoo. Just an FYI.

    thanks,

Did you intend to type two ss in there? I can't get to either one or two anyways. I'm interested. Can you check what's going on and post back here?

    Thanks!

Please tell us the site isn't registered with Yahoo also. Hope there's real registrar behind the name besides them...

The site is still down btw.

Well, it is not going to be a PR4 domain for long if it's not loading, is it? ;)

Why do people even care to say what PR the site that used to be on that domain was if the original content is gone and the site is not loading for quite some time? There is no good reason the new site will retain any of the original PR upon the next update. Also, I am pretty sure all the links and other benefits of the original site are gone by now. So, why no sell it as just the name. Otherwise it just creates confusion.

And trust me, I'm not picking on you and this may very well be just my ignorance talking, but this is the way I understand the situation with purchasing a site. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

    Cheers.

Got one word for this thread... never host, never register with Yahoo. You can't transfer out, change ownership (unless you're donald trump), you can do nothing. Yahoo is a complete waste of a domain host company.

    agreed.

I went through about 8 months after a transfer and did it again because I noticed a domain was still in my control panel. Well, 2 months after the 2nd transfer, it's still there!!!!

yahoo has two benifits for the unskilled webmaster... sitebuilder and Yahoo Stores.

but since we bumped this thread I'll update. I killed my hosting package with Yahoo on this site and they completely dropped my domain registration. My hosting was supposed to run till the end of the of the month, but they killed it half way through, charged me full price, then lost the domain rights. What a waste of a PR4.

yeah long story short, Yahoo sucks for this type of thing.
