Hi, I just joined the CJ as an affiliate. Are there any other non-US affiliates who can give advice? I'm from Malaysia. Would like to get advice from the people as to what payment options are available for affiliates in Malaysia? Is check the only (and default) option? If it is, then what would be the best payment threshold to put, based on experience on overseas commission charges.. etc Thanks! Eddy
I would imagine the higher the setting the better, assuming you know you'll be making enough to meet it regularly.
The only option that you have is by check. You shouldnt put any theshold on the amount until and unless you are sure of what you would be making. There are few programs that pay by paypal and wire transfer.
If they've sent you cheque, then don't be surprised if it takes a while to arrive. Sometimes it can take over a month for postage.
I just joined cj too and I'm from Indonesia. I don't have tax ID, SS ID, etc, will I still able to receive payments? Thanks
Axlarry, don't worry, if you didn't put the wrong address in your CJ account, the check would definitely arriving to your door without any problem. Just fill out, print, and fax "W8BEN" tax form back to CJ to confirm that you are not a US citizen and don't have any tax obligation with them. This is just to reduce problems that might trigger payment delay in the future.
For non US there is no need give tax info. I am from India and I am regularly getting cheques from CJ, I have not given in tax info to them. Cheuqe is the only option for many countries, although CJ also support direct deposit but only for few countries.
well i am also from india do you not submitted their asked form of tax information and they send you money should i try same
