Hey I don't think anyone is trying to put you on the defensive or anything about the script's functionality. They are just trying to make a good buy decision based on the appropriate amount of information. So, just FYI, I tested the scripts and it works fine with YouTube and Google, but does not work with ifilm and putfile. You may want to check that out, because it is likely to affect the final price you get for the site. That having been said, I bid $35

Thanks for the comment. I will sell this as a script primarily as a ripper for youtube.com. The links for putfile and ifilm can be removed (who uses those sites anyway j/k) ;)

I really don't see the usefulness of this "script".

Save the file as .flv ??? Dude, you can already do that without even using a "ripper".

Please explain the purpose of your "script" again ???

For the record, this is one of the handiest tools available. And no, the average web user would have no clue as to how to save a video in hard format from any of the listed sites.

I've tested the script several times, works like a charm.

Bondat was courteous by stating that he wasn't hijacking your thread. He was simply asking you a question as a potential buyer, which you could've simply answered instead of getting defensive and starting your name-calling, which seems to be embedded in your character. I didn't take kindly to that, Dude.

    So Bondat replied:
    and then he left.

And then you refer to me as an idiot:
And then you call me a moron:
Yes, You are right. This IS a forum specifically for sellers to "sell" their sites. But ya know, it seems to me that anyone who is selling something would be courteous and respectful towards any potential buyer and answer their questions promptly & honestly when asked and educate them when needed. All of us aren't as intelligent as you, and we need you to answer our questions when we don't understand. How else are you going to sell anything at all ? Oh, I forgot... you're going to call all of us names, beat down our self esteem and give us all such a complex that'll make us feel like we have to purchase what you're selling in order to survive the next wave of your insults.

 Well, I guess me & all the other 'Morons' here at Digital Point and all over the world already know that all you have to do is simply go to your 'Temporary Internet Files' folder and save the .flv file. Voila ! - No "Ripping" Needed. Now what was the purpose of your site again ?

I don't mean to interupt the thread again, but the fact is The_Phantom, going off topic this way and insulting the property for sale is quite strictly against DP rules. Disputing the purpose of a site that doesn't hold purpose for you does not add anything to the sales thread or potential buyer's knowledge of the sale and it's conditions. It's really just you wasting your own and everyone else's time sifting through pointless posts to get to the meat of a sale.

Stop being the only moron here. The .flv file that is in your temporary files is just a flash link file that still loads the content from the original site. Whereas the .flv that is created from the rip site is the actual full file (so you could view it offline/upload on your own site).

That's a very nice adsense blend. I was clicking like a monkey trying to figure out how the site worked. I was totally blind to the non adsense links.
