    Hi, I have old server -
    Server: Single Processor Quad Core Xeon 3450 - 2.66GHz(Lynnfield)-1 x 8MB cache w/HT
    Public Network Port: 100 Mbps public uplink
    Hard Disk: 500GB SATA II
    Public Bandwidth: 3000 GB Bandwidth
    Database Software: MySQL for Linux
    Disk Controller: SATA Disk Controller
    Ram: 4 GB DDR3 Registered 1333
    Operating System: CentOS 5 (64 bit)
    Uplink Port Speeds: 100 Mbps Public & Private Networks

    I would like to go for New Server.
    Intel-i3 - Dual Core - 3.06Ghz H/T
    RAM 4GB DDR3
    1,000GB SATA2
    RAID-1 Software
    Enterprise Linux - CentOS - 64 bits

    I Need Suggestion from you peoples is this the correct option, My site using WP, Daily 40K visitors and 150,000 pageviews. really it will help for cost effective and server performance

    No. There will be no performance gain, and probably a reduction in performance, but maybe not enough to notice. I wouldn't see any point in moving to a server of that spec from the one you have.

    That I3 can probably host your website just fine, the performance could be a bit less but 150k wordpress pv's should be possible without any problems.
    If it makes a big difference financially I would make the switch.

    I run around 125k wordpress pv's/day (200k simple php/perl, 30k wp and 30k phpbb) on a Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU 3050 @ 2.13GHz with 160 gb hdd and 1 gb ram on nginx+php-fpm and the load is generally 0.3-0.5

    Try using the top or uptime command in ssh to see what the current load is on your server.

    Thanks to all. I've Setup-ed Intel Q8400 Quad Core (4) 2.66GHz, 4GB RAM, 1,000GB SATA2 with nginx+php-fpm+mysql and the load is very less, my site now more fast than previous.
