AdSense is a SCAM. My friend proved it!!!

In a nutshell, if you directly handle advertising for your site rather than dealing for pennies from AdSense, you risk the chance of your Google AdSense account being revoked because they see it as a "threat against our advertisers" that your advertiser has a better ad position than their advertiser. My friend cannot 100% confirm it, but he did a trial on 2 small websites which had ads from companies who do not advertise with AdSense but would be likely competition with AdSense advertisers.

    Google AdSense Mafia!!!

Not crying about it, where do you see the crying?

Just giving people a heads up because Google is so secretive about their AdSense program. Why won't they openly come out and say "hey, our advertisers don't like it when you sell your own advertising so cut it back to a specific amount or we're going to drop your account". Nothing like "account revoked" and no way to dispute it. I know they probably deal with a lot of dishonest people but to cut a site off so quickly because of ONE banner advertising a rival advertiser.. it's weak.

Although I do not believe that Adsense is a scam. You have to admit that they have used some shady reasoning for "revoking accounts" in the past.

Just take a look around there are just as many people complaining about Adsense as there are praising them.

Sorry but affiliate marketing is WAY more effective than adsense if you are in the right niche.

If, would, should. It doesn't matter.
If you are in the right market you can make Millions from Adsense. If you are in the right market you can make millions locally, etc, etc.

When it all comes down to it, adsense just happens to be the easiest way. I've been working with amazon affiliate for awhile and they are GRADE A BS. The worst part is they are one of the most popular.

Of course in 6 months I may revoke what I say here because I've just gotten involved with a new affiliate and it seems VERY promising.

I think in most cases it's due to the fact that people do not read Google's TOS properly -- consequently, when they are banned they think that it is unjustified because they are unaware of the fact that they are actually violating Adsense policies.

You'r absolutely right. The funny part is most of these people know what they did, most of them were invalid clicks, and yet they still act like it's googles fault. All you gotta do is READ the rules and follow them but for some strange reason these guys can build websites but can't do something as simple as following directions. Too many people are lazy and are in for the quick buck and are too stupid to realize if they do things right they will make a lot more money in the long run.

You nailed it on the head. The key is to read certain provisions as not just banning SPECIFIC actions but also setting BROAD PARAMETERS for acceptable practices.
