Hello, I started a website named free-contests.net approximately a month ago now and have been getting increasingly great response. I'm making some good money off the site already, even after taking off my advertising costs(ppc mainly). Anyways, I've just opened the forums up recently and have a section for users to submit contests they are running. I need posts in my forum - so, I'm setting up a bit of a sweet deal here. I could go on about how great it is to have a contest to create a buzz around anything you are doing, but I won't. It's been said many times on here. Thing is, you may have a contest running, but how are people ever gonna find out about it unless you tell the world you're running one? I figure this website of mine is a great chance for people to get their contests noticed. (Yes I realize DP has a contest section, and it's fantastic, but the market is limited to other webmasters really) I'm going to do this only once, and only for the people of DP - so here's what's going on right now: If you are running a contest of any kind, posting it in the "Contests By You" section of the forum will give you a link on the home page - front and center for everyone to see. I won't link it to the forum post, but to your actual page with the contest details. I'm only going to do this for the first 10 people to reply here telling me they posted their contest. The link will stay up for a month, or till the contest is over - whichever comes first. Oh, here's a link to the website: www.free-contests.net
Strange, i just tested it and it works fine. Please read the rules on the board, no affiliate/referral links are allowed for this. All contests must be submitted by the creator/administrator.

Alright, I'm dumb. It wasn't an affiliate link phg - but then you know that. I've really got to read slower. Ok so two spots are filled for the front page then. 8 more to go.

Guess it took the scenic route Glad you found the site easy to use. I'll be putting up a contest for all members of the site in the next few days, plus releasing the tracking component, plus putting out a press release - needless to say you should notice some nice referrals

I just want to add that these types of sites can drive a RIDICULOUS amount of traffic to sites with contests and free offers. I was doing a "giveaway" and the visitors had to fill out a survey. The results of each survey were auto-emailed to me. I woke up one morning with 3000 emails. Someone had posted my url on the site with a brief description. Anyway, sorry for the interruption...
