Hey I am not able to install Google toolbar in Firefox Can anyone please tell which version of Firefox will be will be required.
I had the same problem and switched to the SEOmoz tool bar....it may even be better than the Google tool bar.
Google said it was because later versions of Firefox had many of the features of its toolbar anyway, so it wasn't needed anymore. However, there was also talk of some kind of disagreement between Mozilla (the company behind Firefox) and Google, so maybe it was a political decision. Either way it makes no difference, you can't have Google toolbar with versions of Firefox later than v4.
All that Firefox help tells you is what has already been said in this thread. It links to two statements from Google confirming that their toolbar is not available for Firefox 5 onwards: http://googletoolbarhelp.blogspot.com/2011/07/update-on-google-toolbar-for-firefox.html and http://support.google.com/toolbar/bin/answer.py?hl=en&topic=15356&answer=1342452
That is not very insightful given that it has already been established that it will only work on versions of Firefox lower than 5.
Old versions of Firefox can be downloaded here: http://www.oldapps.com/firefox.php However, it would be better to use the latest version and find an alternative for whatever Google toolbar had that you still need.
