I saw a script some where which does this, but forgot the link

I'm too looking for that kind of script or program. If you write a review about a product with you referral link embedded to the product link,it will devalue the review.

Landing page is set by CB merchants and it cant be changed by affiliates as far as I know. However link cloaking is possible and desirable too. Search Google for \"affiliate link cloaker\" and you will find some free tools/scripts too.

    There's a workaround ...

    - Create a frameset based on 2 frames.
    - Top frame 0% height is the merchant/CB landing page
    - Bottom frame 100% height is the landing page you want the customer to see.

The top frame registers your hoplink as the affiliate, so when the customer finally visits the purchase page they're already cookied with your id.

Problem is ClickBank frown upon use of frames and claim that the hoplink doesn't work and may not work in the future ...

    ... but I haven't had a problem with it so far :)

Nice workaround :) and it should work. But the visiters wont see the actual site url in the address bar then, and this may be undesirable and CB may want to prevent this.

However, it wont work with (rare) sites which immediately break out of frames by using meta BASE tag or javascript top frame check. You will need to check it with the original landing page first in this case.

Also, this may hinder in determining Quality Score of landing page for Google as Google doesnt like frames. This quality score is now being used in new adwords ad position and cost determining algorithm (i heard that). It can affect your earnings if you are using adwords for affiliate promotion with such framed landing pages.

I agree completely, but then again I wouldn't normally suggest to anyone to link directly from Adwords to the merchant's sales page anyway ... much better with a pre-sales landing page, eh?

Yes, I agree. Its better to use a pre-sales landing page to optimize it for quality score (original site\'s landing page might not be optimized), to provide maximum and most useful and relevent information about the product in one place to increase conversion rate, to gather useful compaign data (which keywords triggered clicks, which keywords are performing best etc), ROI calculation and list can be extended.
