Bing vs Google

simply google.

people say regularly "oh man, google it"

but have u ever heard something similar about bing?

"pls stop bothering me and asking for information, i dont have it, just bing it"
^^^this doesnt make a sense in comparison with first sentence.

"or bing the Pittsburgh penguins site.. " XD

 

I like Bing but Google is the best i think.

 

Of course Google is the best of all search engines because of the large user base.

Of course it matters! How are you going to get to that site if Bing can't find it? There's a reason Microsoft loses billions of dollars on Bing. Always use Google.

 

I read this and can`t agree with you all, I have many different type of websites and when I am checking my analytics I got about 30-40% of traffic from Bing at the moment in comparsion to the last year it still increasing wich means Bing can becomes one of the major players very soon in my opinion.

 

Meaning you are unable to draw traffic from where the whole world is visiting. That's a negative on your site. You are just a bigger fish in a much smaller pond.

Been hearing that for years now and Bing has gone nowhere. Spinning its wheels in place. Microsoft loses billions of dollars on it. I'm waiting for shareholders to get fed up.

 

One way to perhaps manage the disparities between the two engines is to analyze what gets the best results in each. You may want to change your optimizations considering the variables of each engine. You could do a month's survey for your optimization choices. Consider tracking what methods were used in each engine or used to best comply with the algorithms of each engine. Then check the results for the month. Also, look into using webmaster tools and Google analytics for your cross comparisons.

 

If you optimize for Google you automatically optimize your website for Bing and other search engines too, because all of them have easier requirements than Google.

 

You do have a point, the basic requirements of almost every search engine is the same. I think that the best way to opt for the natural way of optimizing your website.

 

Even though other search engines are all giving more than Google, Google is already popular and people don't care if its less better. All they know is that Google is the best search engine ever.

Now come to your point.Google will index your site fast as compared to bing. Google will update their results every quarter. In the bing ,one think i like very much that they have the block the adult websites. Bing search is good than the google but google prefer. Google updates the result very fast as compared to bing. Some of the ex- "1hours before" that will be show in google not bing. Bing is good for the backlinks counting also(very fast where google takes time). Bing takes the time to indexed your website.And you will not get such result soon.

 

I prefer Google, although Bing has some features that are useful.

OK OK, we all know that Google is the most powerfull, used and best of all search engineerings.

but, we have to admit that Bing offer some interesting options too, some options that Google don't offer and important.

 

I think you should try to rank for both, they are both really popular
