Google+ is new and growing, where as Facebook is an established service. The advantages are dependent on what you wanna do.
If you were smart you'd incorporate both. At the moment Facebook is more established but Google+ will soon play an important role to SEO
Indeed, google like accountability, check out all the info in webmaster tools on metadata, microdata and linking pages back to verifiable authors - google trust their own data, that can be exploited. However, facebook has the far greater presence at the minute. Precedence for traffic goes Google Search -> Facebook -> Twitter -> G+
Now a days both play a vital role in social bookmarking. But Facebook have more visitor than G+. but G+ only take not spam bookmarking it very curious about the matter you mark. Betluck
Today Facebook has a big advantage over Google+ in proportion to the number of users for its brand websites and advanced applications. And Google+ is new on the platform of social networks. Google+ is a platform for two-way conversations on exact topics of interest. The main differences of Google+ and Facebook are; Google + in the experimental phase, and Facebook has already around 500 million members. + Google has some new features like circles, sparks and hangouts that are not on Facebook. In Google+ you can instantly upload photos whereas in the case of Facebook it takes longer time to load.
yeah incorporating both would be key. i haven't really experimented or test much with google+, just put their +1 button on my site to help aid in SEO.
Google+ vs Facbook = Facebook. Facebook is very popular now and can easy to have friends because of its popularity. Google+ is still working to be more popular but I know that time will come it will be a good social networking sites. Both are still good to use.
I prefered facebook than google+ because it is more popular than google+ and my mostly friends are on facebook .

I think the question is "where is your audience?...on Facebook or Google+" Most of mine is on Facebook...hence that is where I spend my time.
