Hi there, Right now I am trying to get more backlinks for my client site. I notice that some people talk about contextual link, that is a link placed around words with the same niche topic to the link, hence the high relevance. On the other hand, blog comments are also popular as well. Is blog commenting enough? Or should I combine them with the contextual links by making articles and publishing it to article submission sites? Which one is better: - Leaving 10 blog comments on a few irrelevant topic blogs (either home or inner pages) with PR 4-6 [Advantage: quick and quantity] or - Publishing articles with contextual links which will be copy-pasted by other blogs with PR 0-2 [Advantage: slow but relevance quality] What do you think?
Better is both. Because website must have different link. More types of links more natural link profile.
Hmm.. so far I havent done Contextual Links much due to time constraint. Is it bad if I just do link buildings by blog commenting but no (or only a few) contextual links?
If I have to select only one from the two, my preference goes to contextual links from articles. Having said that, I would also do blog commenting on high pr pages as that would get me a mix of the links. For all my sites I do a mix of the backlinks both quality and quantity and make it seem as natural as possible.
Hmm.. judging from the poll result, it seems there is no way Blog commenting beats Contextual Links.. more SEO works to do
Obviously i would say contextual linking from the relevant articles will be more powerful than the irrelevant blog commenting.
