Webmasterbb.org is for sale! A fantastic domain that I'm sure you will find super easy to do SEO on :)
Both the .com and .net are taken (the .com is for sale on sedo at $5,000 USD) and the .net is used by a successful webmaster forum.

    Price $20 via PayPal.

Thanks a lot Ask any questions :)

(P.S. this is a relist- this was sold for $20 however the buyer failed to reply to my email and Pm).

Nice domain - I do have a quick question.

Has the owner of the .net made any trademark claims against the brand? If so, it could be considered trademark infringement to create a webmaster forum that operates under the same name (as it has the potential to confuse users as to which site is which). This could also be flagged as a "bad faith registration" by ICANN and result in the loss of the domain.

Under US law, trademarks do not have to be registered. Rather, you may simply begin using it in commerce and you will hold a "claim" to the name. This isn't 100% effective in a courtroom, but does help to make a case. This is what worries me about this domain, since the owner of the .net hasn't branded their site as "WebmasterBB.net", but rather "WebmasterBB". Even branding a new site as "WebmasterBB.org" can still cause confusion to some degree, and there would be a small case to be made (which is the problem, the risk factor).

Of course, if you obtained written permission from the owner of the .net to use the name, none of this would be an issue at all. I'm not sure if she'd (?) go for it, however.

yes, i think there is one webmasterbb.net forum already going on, which also focuses on the same niche.

I can see your point, however this is shouldn't be an issue:
If you create a successful community off the domain, anyone applying to try and take the domain off you would face a personal backlash from the community and would therefore have no desire to take the domain off you if it may negatively impact them. Also, the .net community has not been around for very long, therefore you cannot be piggybacking off their success as a forum- and if you did a lot of advertising to your own forum then they'd be in fact be piggybacking off you. Finally as you say, you can brand the forum as a .org to reduce the confusion AND make sure your forum runs off a different forum software and looks different to the .net.

Its the same sort of deal as Adminforums.org and Adminforum.org......
