Selling Arcade Site, with traffic and revenue (NinjaMadness.Com)

Hey guys,

I have been extremely busy since xmas, therefore, sadly I have decided to sell my arcade site. You will notice that since xmas the traffic and revenue has decreased, purely because I have not devoted enough time to the site. A few hours spent by the winner could easily bring this site back to life.

The Domain Name and Script

NinjaMadness.Com is the site that is up for sale, the domain name is registered at NameCheap, and of course a free push is provided, the domain name is also a PR 2. The site is powered by AvArcadePro, an arcade script (Please note that the winner will have to have a license to use the script, or I will allow the use of my license and provide file updates as they become available).

The Site

As stated previously, the site is powered by AvArcade Pro, and currently has 104 games (All hosted in the server), with 128 members and has had 205,148 games played, the current version of the script used is 5.4.6 (With the latest being 5.5.1, however I have been too busy to update the script). The site has a stock theme which it uses (has been modified) and on the backend uses a newsletter mod. The use of AvArcade is very easy and a demo is provided on the AvArcade Site.

Traffic

Since the site inception to current day it has had 100,783 Visits, 47,087 Unique Visitors and 461,817 Pageviews according to Google (Screenshot HERE. As you are able to tell, since xmas the traffic has decreased purely because I have been too busy to dedicate any time to the site, in addition when viewing the chart, the reasons for the dips in traffic is because they fall on the weekend, the lowest point of traffic for the site.

The site mainly gets its traffic from the US (Screenshot HERE) as well as a few other places. In addition the site gets 30% of its traffic from Google and the rest from other sources (Screenshot HERE)

Revenue

Now the important issue, revenue, the site has made a nice little sum over the past year, £343 (Thats $540), this was main down to hard work before xmas to bring the traffic in, updating games and interacting with users (Screenshot HERE). I have used Google Adsense, and it has worked for me, the new owner might consider other path ways.

Payment will be made by PayPal, I am able to offer up to 15 days free hosting, after that I will have to charge, in addition I'm un able to assist in moving the site to a new server.

Your traffic had a VERY hard drop did you're google ads expire or something?

 

I have never used Google Ads on this site, generally for an arcade traffic dips off in jan and then picks up - however like I've said, since xmas I've hardly spent any time on the site, nor have I actively promoted it and done any link building etc.

It's been a while since I ran an arcade.. I switched from AVarcade though... Started using php quick arcade.
I should have my AVAracade license around somewhere... lol, its been years. Nice that the license is so cheap though

 

And is still doing a good job with Av Arcade, a great script at a very affordable price! Have you taken a look at TA and got up to speed with arcade industry

 

Why the drop in Traffic in January?

Do you have the source code for the games or does that belong to other people?

How have you made £343 with one Google image ad?

 

There are multiple ads on the site, preloading ads, the homepage page has 3 googlr adsense ads on there.

Oh okay I see now when you click on a game, sorry mate. Is that within the script then the ad loading page?

 

Its easily done by the backend admin panel.

Let me be more concise. How were you promoting this before? Were you promoting via paid ads?

 

Help Desk, The site has not used any paid ads, the site has purely attracted its visitors by hard work, by use of Q&A sites plus posting on blogs.

How do you handle your website transfers?
Basically I like to keep the source site online, while I copy it to my own host and fix any issues
due to it moving to a new file structure then... I transfer the domain onto the new site...

I do this to prevent as much down-time as possible, is this something you could accommodate?

 

I generally copy the whole site to the new server (test to see if its working on that server) then switch the domain name. Like I've said I'm more than happy to provide hosting for 15 days whole the winner transfers the site!
