Sending offers

    Hi

    I have a directory with 5000 users who registered.
    Would it be ok to send them an offer to buy links on discount using coupons?

    Assuming you made this abundantly clear to them at the time of sign up, then I don't see there being any issues with that. Just be sure that when they submitted to your directory they 1) agreed to be subject to receive offers/emails and 2) have the ability to opt out of that in the future.

    I wouldn’t bother sending out mails if it wasn’t agree as your email is likely to be deemed junk.

    You may also find that lots of the emails will bounce back as lots people use throw away addresses for directory submissions.

    yes I decided not to send these emails because users didn't opt-in
