Hi all i want to make an adsense site but i'm confusing in picking the right niche i love weight loss and Bodybuilding niche but i hear that eductional and finance is working good with adsense but i had no any experience with them what should i do and is it important to take a niche that i love even if i will outsorce all the content
If you love weight loss and bodybuilding then go for it, it is a very good paying niche compared to many others. but beware of a very very high competition. but if you really love it, then you'll be able to get a big enough piece of the traffic cake by working more than in an unknown niche.
You need to consider some stuffs before picking up a niche. As for me, I would prefer using micro niche (such as long-tail-keyword) for my domain+blog. Usually I searched out for the long tail keywords with 1,4000++ montly local searches and with cpc min. 1$. And of course you also need to consider the competitors for the keyword as well cheers
I know it is very competitive niches so i thought to build a website about less competitive what do you think about it and what matter if i don't know anything of the niche if i will outsource the articles and optimise mu site good
the problem is you're talking about finance paying more.. Anything so general that pays a lot will have high competition. Then you're left with micro niches, with little traffic, so you'll have to make many sites. Or to chose an average paying niche with moderate or low competition. Or you can go with what you love and you're really lucky that what you love is also one of the high paying niches.. Me I love something which is not paying much at all, so I make websites about average paying niches, not what I love, but nothing prevents me to do a site about what I love and not earn much from it as long as I earn the money from the other sites.. Well nothing except lazyness really..
^ This is sound advice. It's always better to focus on a niche that you are genuinely interested in -- especially if you intend to work on it in the long run. If you choose a topic that you have little interest or no experience with, there's a greater possibility of you abandoning it in the future.
if the niche doesn't have much competition, it shouldn't be that big of a problem as you long as you monetize correctly.
Just wanted to add the poster above: less competition is good, but make sure that there is actually a reasonable demand for the niche you choose. There's no point going for an obscure/unknown niche that no one has heard of -- otherwise you can expect to earn very little, if anything.
Videos videos videos! Make body building instruction videos and become a YouTube partner. Run your website as well and link the two when ever possible. Also include general health and diet advice. My Youtube channels earn far more than my websites. I am amazed videos don't get mentioned more here.
Weight loss and bodybuilding are very competitive niches so if you do decide to go for these then you will have to alot of keyword research and pick out less searched and less competitive phrases. Either that or you have to have alot of SEO knowledge
You can get more traffic for Weight loss niche, but less CPC than finance niche. However, you can get high CPC with Finance niche, but less traffic due to high competition. If you have good SEO techniques, don't hesitate to give a try for finance niche.
Use the AdWords keyword tool and you will see how much is paid in a particular niche and how much competition you'll have.
