Today, a new dp member asked me that why he cannot check back links through cekpr.com ( it has a links popularity tool )

AS We know ,after yahoo explorer is closed, we cannot check FULL Back links,
Because Bing web master tool or Google web master tool need a verify that you are the web site owner.

WE cannot check the domains which is selling and not owned by us.
So, how to check back links for confirming the domain is valid or not, and how to know the values of domains?
Because you have to know how much remarkable back links the domain has and it will decide whether you buy and how much you should pay.
(if a domain is less back links you may pay lower as it is not strong that it may lost pr at future)

The Back link checkers cannot check 100% and all back links as they do not have sufficient server to surf internet, we can only check more tools!!!
***I think seller should check it at bing/google as they can verify and they can share the information for buyer

It is owned by the company of DMOZ.ORG ! very tursted and I think it will glow fastly;However:
it is bad in Non- English sites , if you are checking non-english language web sites, you will find it no uses ★★★☆☆)

China'BL checker ( sorry I don't know the name): http://inlink.linkhelper.cn/ (you may need to use translation tool on Google ) ( Free tool and if you are checking Chinese web site , it is very useful ;however, no use for non-chinese web sites but if you are checking for Chinese links, it will better than other tools ★★☆☆☆ )

Review for majesticseo and opensiteexplorer:
open site explorer is not a prefect tool especially that it cannot fully check non-English web sites,
we can only check via more tools for domains ( we have to pay our time to check for quality )

here is a sample:
When checing yahoo.com.cn via open site explorer ( I think yahoo is a trusted site and it has a great Page Rank ), I take this results:

Open site explorer just 12,764 total links

However:majesticseo External Backlinks 14,512,041

Ahrefs.com
majesticseo.com

They seem to be the best tools right now.
Both have good bots.

Sadly open site explorer is not accurate and has some serious issues. Dont trust it.
Although saying that, even google webmaster tools dont show some of the links that ahref and majestic pick up.

Seems the best method is a combination of ahrefs and majestic with some google mixed in.

 

Yep, I agree with you, open site explorer is not the most accurate in all backlink checkers,
it is worse than majesticseo

however, SeoMoz Rank is accurate. I mean the MozRank can let me know what Page rank we will get, and the weight of domains on Google

I mean seomoz's rank is most trusted, others' rank is weaker than moz one.. that's my experience... I always check their rank replace PR ,
it seem to be a pr clone ( as far as you know PR update is slowly, I prefer Moz Rank to Seo for my sites)

Sadly.. Seomoz Bots is insufficient

banklink watch is good tool but I dont like open site explorer.. I like to use google commands index, links, to analyse the websites
this way I just get the approximate number of links.

 

Sadly google link: search function is grossly inaccurate. I have a valid and natural pr7 site that google link: registers as having only 10 inbound links :/

 

Remarkable pr links is important than how much you have
junk back links is no uses

 

i have several domain at past without backlink, i mean none a link but got high ranked, i just wanna said that not only backlink that make site got high ranked, no tricky at there like fake to valid or redirect, i just make site with huge traffict

 

Actually there are two new projects that show full backlinks: Openlinkprofiler and Moonsearch.
Moonsearch claims to show up to 80 mln(!) backlinks for a single domain (I wonder if there's any domain having that much). it's bad side is that the service doesn't see lots of small sites' backlinks (it might be some bug, or they might haven't crawled enough of the Web). Openlinkprof is also good, although it also misses many links. Sure, they don't give as good stats as giants like Ahrefs or Majestic, but if price matters....

 

AHREFS is head and shoulders above the rest. A must have for anyone serious about SEO.
