    I think that Google is giving more attention to videos and it will grow in that direction.

    I was in a talk from Google where the speaker was talking about how YouTube is trying to get the money companies spend on more common media like TV. So for sure they are taking notice of video, giving more stats, changing their channels and adding a lot of new options on their YouTube page.

    So I think video is the way to go this year and beyond.

    You r right, quality content and proper SEO (espe getting keywords that are world wide, not local), among others mentioned in this thread are the way to go. N just be careful while using automated programs, coz it won't be good for u to spam in any areas of SEO.
