    hey guys,
i have been running a few successful site and am have recently had some offers to buy them. they are fully up and running to this day (turn key) profit per sale is more then 85%. They consistently do sales from $600 to $1500 a week with no advertising or further promotion from me on my end. we get roughly 300 super targeted unique visitors a day per site. 1-4 sales per day and 2-5 new members a day. has full merchant integration (money is directly deposited into the account of your liking next business day after sale) each site currently have a member log of over 1000 members who have purchased from the site. i have attached a screen shot of proof just so i don't get flamed. what is a fair price to sell one of these turn key? i don't know if i should keep them or take the cash and move onto other things? thanks

I would average your monthly commission times 12 = site value

so using that math i would say it's worth about $60,000-70,000. hmm.... that's about what they offered me...my problem is i don't think i can invest that amount of money for anything with a decent return even close to the site profit in a year. so i may be keeping it.

The going rate for websites on popular websites that specialize in buying / selling of sites is 25% of the site's revenue. For example, if your site made $400 last year- the value is $100. I did not set the numbers but that's the rate I have noticed on quite a few sites because like the suggestion above, with multiplying commission by the amount of months, does not take into consideration of your slow months and puts more money in your pocket which you want but may turn off a buyer who finds that you overcharging is unreasonable.

I would say $75,000-$85,000 more than a fair price for it. 12X the revenue is standard but for larger more profiting sites you should be able to get 24X MAX. However, your site(s) must have a full year of stable income proof or they are not secure enough to be worth anything that high.

Needless to say you probably are going to get several people pming you from this topic. Your doing good online. I wish I was on your path.

I wouldn't sell of I were you. You have stable earnings, good money. Do you really need money to invest anywhere else? I doubt it.

any buyer would need to know net profit if your doing $600 a week and your profit is say $60 then your site is worth 3-12 months net revenue

if you got offered 70k based on sales revenue not profit I would take the offer...

Unfortuately you have not supplied enough information to gain an accurate assessment of value. It would need more analysis of revenue streams, site standing, consistent earnings on a year by year basis, running costs, scalability, uniqueness and longevity. If it was not an online business and you had a constant revenue at the level you say over three years then you would be looking at achieving ten times your yearly bottom line. Unfortunately online businesses do not realise anywhere near this ammount normaly, so you would be looking at receiving your yearly profit as a payment. My advice, if you have serious offers at the price stated, stop reading this and make the deal.

Assessing a site only on gross sale and income is quite hard. We will have to judge your marketing techniques, flow of customers and other important things too.
