your site is good but they hv right to decline any app without any genuine reason.
    try after 2-3mnth.
till adsense give approval, use infolinks ads

Because they don't like Bangladesh boys who copy content from books or online, in your case from a book and you're innocent enough to mention it as "references"..
copyright infrigment, do you know that? I understand some countries have much worse problems than copyright to deal with first, but still copyright infrigment is in adsense's rules.

If JC is right and you copied your content directly from a book, then you have your answer. Google will not approve of any site that plagiarizes it's information.

The first thing is you must read TOS carefully before applying for Adsense. If you can't adhere their TOS, then do not even think about Adsense.

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again seem to be the answer.

Suggest to wait for 1 - 2 months before re-try while works on more articles. Keep re-trying after day will not helps :)

Others have stated it already but read the TOS. In most cases, it's quite obvious why Google rejects certain sites -- it's all laid out in their policies. If you're unclear about any of their rules, just contact them directly to ask for clarification.

If the rejection is because of copyright infringement as JamesColin said, he won't get approved forever
