How to get .edu and .gov dofollow backlinks.... worth a read if you do not know

So here goes people.. follow this carefully :) this is how you get them/find them...

first of all you need to go and download the free firefox plugin called search status... you need to have firefox browser for this... both free...

Then once that is installed you will be able to see if the other comments people leave are no follow or do follow. Searchstatus highlights no follow links pink...
Also go get "live page rank" which will show you the page rank of the page you are on...

Now go to google and type in these search strings in the search box....

site:.edu inurl:blog "post a comment" -"comments closed" -"you must be logged in" "YOUR KEYWORD PHRASE GOES HERE"

with this phrase type your keyword in the part where it says "your keyword phrase goes here" copy EVERYTHING else exactly

That search string actually brings up market targeted .edu sites,
you can change the part that says .edu to.gov because .gov sites also have high authority when it comes to seo.

Here is a search string for .edu forums where you can go create multiple profiles with a do follow link to your site in the profile. They will most probably stay there for the life of the site too.

copy and paste these into the search engine giant GOOGLEY MOOGLEY :)

    "powered by phpbb" site:.edu inurl:/forum

Copy and paste that in the search bar to bring up edu forums that you get backlinks from...

Remember you can get .gov by just changing the .edu with .gov

There are loads more of these secret strings

PM and when I have time I will send you them :)

    Kindest regards Louis Doughty

If you own scrapebox you can use these footprints in the keywords field to scrape Google for all the results. The sort by PR and get the goods!

If you are into Search engine optimization, then you should be very well aware of the fact that back links from edu domains has better link juice than normal backlinks. Google has always treated edu domains with high authority. Most of the edu domains are used by popular school, colleges, universities and education organizations. So Google believe that the content from those sites will be highly informative.

While scraping edu link for comment always look for page with low OBL and are dofollow. Lower outbound link produce best link juice while dofollow pass both authority and link value. Many SEO claimed nofollow link from EDU site still valuable as it pass some authority however I'm not sure about that. Hope you get some good EDU list using above technique. It's also better for you to keep that list private.

Fairly old, but good for those who haven't seen it.

Also, if you can swing $57, you're wasting your time by not using Scrapebox. One keyword at a time can become thousands at a time.

You can save a lot of time by getting yourself Scrapebox tool. It scrapes thousands of urls, check do follows or not, check malware and various others.
