i want to make articles and posts in my website. sort of like a blog but over many pages..

i want to have the articles be in categories, with tags etc.

    for example.
    my website is about motorbikes.
so when the races happen. i write a article about it. then its put in the race categorie.

then on the race articles page. a list of the older articles..

    Could anyone please help.

A simple content management system like Wordpress would handle all of the functionality you desire.

See, if you're gonna develop a blog for motorbikes, then first categorize the bikes world. Prepare a list of bike manufactures, then start writing about them(i.e. bike manufactures & models). Explore internet about latest launches in the automobile market. Then describe latest models in detail, their pros & cons, price etc. Keep remember that you have to be updated if you want to share the latest news related to the bikes world.

So just to clarify, you need help creating this website in PHP, or help writing the actual articles?

If it's the former, I get the sense you're going to struggle, as this is quite an easy undertaking. You may want to start reading some tutorials with PHP to get your head around it or. Either that, or like I said, use something like Wordpress.

Try rubbing a "lamp". That, or read some tutorials.

If you can't install a piece of software, you have no chance with writing one.

How about you put some money up and have someone do it for you.

Oops, why don't you ask me for help? I have worked with PHP-Fusion for over 6 yrs, there's no way for you with no experience in web development.

if i used php fusion would it be like starting my site over again?

becuase i dont want to have to edit the phpfusion to match my site, i want it to just let me make pages into categories then being able to have pages in databases?
