Hi guys I'm relatively new in this business. I've written a book on Personalities and I've just finished with my sales page. I'm working on a video and it should be up soon - just need a little more time for that. Do you know what I would do if it is organic traffic. I would build a blog and create backlinks and if you have a budget...get a SEO expert involved which you can do for as little as $100 and add CPA to cover the cost. By the way, I am not a SEO expert.
Did you write the sales copy yourself? It needs a lot of work. I would hire a professional to write (pay for a quality copywriter).
Hello my friend, The graphics are not bad and will do the job but thecopy on the site needs work. Plus you have repeated two paragraphs towards the end of the sales page. If I were you I would create amn opt in page that builds a list of targeted subscribers. As for traffic write articles and post them to directories, create a well optimised blog for the serch engines and create some videos. A great tip as far as traffic goes is this... get really good at one traffic technique and then move on to another. Building a business takes time but, time passes fast so you might aswell get building... f you build a list of subscribers you can market to them again and again If you need help PM me. Louis, I thank you for you help. I'm going to work on my sales pitch more. I will look at it more closely. I'm also working on an article to post to directories. I'm really grateful for your input. You are so right when you say building a business takes time. Sometimes I feel like no one will even bother with my product. I know its good quality stuff. I just need to communicate that on the web. I am keen on a video, that why I'm working on a script to get started. I have start already with ad-words. It has started producing traffic so the interest is there. I just need to work on it. Dave
Agree with the majority of replies so far, bulk up the sales copy and give it some umph then get out there in the search engines, directories and on social media websites. All free and should give a good foundation.
You have to promote it in several ways. Do off page SEO, get your site indexed by search engines - get it recognized. You can get affiliates to promote your product - check out the JV section. Offer affiliate commission for those who purchase your product through affiliate links - you have to list your product in affiliate networks first thought (like paydotcom). If you have a bigger budget do Media advertising.
I would hire a ghostwriter, or someone who is able to write well. After you receive the copy, then add in the links that you want to promote, and then make it to focus where you want them to go, and see. This is also known as user experience.
You should look into adding a pop up so you can generate leads and build your list. The best piece of software for that would be Popup Domination.
