Today while checking backlinks I saw some new ones, one of them appeared to be... Google AdSense. The problem is I have never been running ad campaigns for this site.
    Google's charity?

not quite sure what you are saying here? "Today while checking backlinks I saw some new ones, one of them appeared to be... Google AdSense "
are you saying that there are google adds on your site that you have not put there?
or are you saying that you have a backlink from an adsense add?

I have never seen a backlink to a website from google adsense add

please show what the link looked like

Googles charity? Are you referring to google public service ads?

maybe you clicked some url of your website while you were logged in google adsense account ..maybe that s why the tracked link says adsense .

No, what he means, I think, is that when checking his back links, there were ads from an Adwords campaign running on a site displaying Adsense. His trouble is that he never ran a campaign.

I still don't understand. There are only google ads for the top 2 ads...which all look, well, normal? Is this your website?

Thanx, now I got it! ads are only the first two. I thought they all are ads. Thanx again, now I have also understood how to distinguish ad from organic listing

now I see, it is not an AdWords, the ads are only the 2 first results on that page, I just was confused by words "Ads from Google" at the top of the page

Thanx to all of you and sorry for taking your time because of my inattention

Yes, they are very well disguised ads indeed.

How is that breaking the tos? All that has been done is the ads have been extremely well blended...they have had attention brought to them, or anything in that field. I would have thought that would be acceptable, although, I could be wrong.
