Are Nofollow Links Valuable for SEO?

Hi,
I have a question regarding to "NO FOLLOW" links,

1. is it useful?

if not why we do it regularly in seo.

and if it is good and useful to SEO,

So explain me why it is useful even i know it is not consider a back-link..

So please give your suggestion regarding "No Follow Links"

I am expecting you will definitely solve out this concern..

Nofollow or dofollow doesn't make much of a difference since google crawl both and link juice is passed.

I have the same opinion about it from my vast experience in linkbuilding but i have just nedeed some other points of views.

 

Wrong, if links are nofollow then no link juice is passed. However nofollow links are useful because it makes your backlink profile look more natural.

 

Nofollowed links do not pass any search engine ranking value for most of the search engines, including Google and Bing. You can have a nofollowed link on Wikipedia or even Google's main blog and it won't count in terms of improving your rankings. That doesn't mean the link is not valuable.

Sites with lots of traffic with links on them, even if they are nofollowed, still can send traffic. That traffic can help with leads, conversions and even encourage other sites to link to you without a nofollow attribute on the link. When it comes to getting links and social media, it is more about creating awareness about your content or product. That awareness will lead to more link building opportunities and create even more awareness for your content.

 

Nofollow links don't pass the link juice and reputation of that site but if such links ate on good site then they are very useful to in driving traffic to your site.

 

Just make sure that your dofollow has the same niche like yours, then search engine will love you

 

I have ranked many websites solely by creating no-follow links. Do-follow links certainly help much more than no-follow, but you cant say that NO-follow links are of no value at all.
Plus, I want my links to appear diversified to Google, so adding no follow links makes it look natural and diversified to Google.
Keep building them. Keep in mind a link is a link (vote).

Of course, no follow links also important in SEO (not in PR) but in getting your page/site crawled easily and also get you some referral traffic.

Ya s. No follow links are useful for your web site. Have to build certain number of no follow links to show natural link building. 10% no follow links are important for your web site. Google gives high priority to natural link building.

Let you get a link from yahoo answer and you can get some traffic , also you have another link from a do follow site but no traffic through the link , so think yourself about the demand of your link .

Yes. Google follows them. I hammer my backlinks with no-follow links because they are easy to get. i.e. Z-Blogs. and they always index my backlinks

 

This is what I have read/ experienced. If you don't build any no follow links then your site can get penalised because it seems unnatural but you focus on do follow backlinks because they actually benefit your website.

Nofollow links may not pass over link juice, but at least they will diversify your backlinks. Think of it like this, what would google think if every single backlink pointing your site was dofollow?
