Hi I got many old sites that I integrated with adsense before that I got lost track on some of them already. I added channels on sites that Im aware of but I still got this adsense clicks that I couldn't trace on what site it came from. May I know any suggestion on how I can identify those sites long forgotten. Thanks
why don't you just go through all of them and set them up on channels. It will be a pain in the ass but then you can see what sites to focus on
I think what he meant is that, he has forgotten the sites that he has put the adsense code... If it is the case, I am not sure how to track it.
Reminds me of something I was wondering, if I have set up channels, but then delete the channels but still have the code on my pages, will the clicks on these ads still be counted? And if so, where can I see the stats for ads that are not in any active channels?
did u also may channels by URL ? meaning channels for domain/subfolder1 domain/subfolder1/subfolder2 etc of course all clicks are conted even if you deleted the channel then you just get UNKNOWN origin that means you get the channel clicks / data on Google pages and the OVERALL sum of clicks/CTR/$ is greater than the sum of all channel data as a result of unknown/unspecified adsense pages you can run a test search/list all files having any of the G adsense code words IN it ( for example your G adsense customer # ) then list a total of all your pages diff these 2 output files and the result are the pages without G adsense !
I can trace sites that I'm hosting and has control over its domain name. The problem is I had sites that are coming from free blogging sites like blogger.com and wordpress.com etc.. that I could no longer remember that it ever existed.
Ya thats what ive been doing for the last 6 months - ignoring it. Not until I get some $5-15/day unaccountable revenue that I started to look for that golden egg.
You have a nice problem there.... No idea how to find them though, but try looking through old emails about accounts you have set up. If you search 'blogger' and 'wordpress' you may find them. Hope that helps DD
daworm, I am not suffering from the same problem but I was just wondering how would someone be able to know the sites where his ads' are showing, why don't you email your question to google and post back with your reply?
