I will tell you up front that I need your help and I am promoting a $3 Clickbank product.

But first, let me say that it is common for people to share their Clickbank screens to show how wonderful they are doing. Well, let me show you mine. This is what a Clickbank account looks like when you don't put in the required effort:

    cb012.jpg

A couple things I would like to point out. First, notice the unexplained $1 debits that appear on 2011-09-28, and on my two most recent periods. Clickbank will start deducting fees when your account becomes inactive. This is their way of housecleaning. They do not want a lot of dormant accounts sitting around, with a few dollars in them. So, in their "Terms of Service" (that we all read and studied), we agreed to let them milk our accounts dry if we don't stay on the ball.

My account is in that state at the moment.

Now notice the $24.76 sale on 2011-10-12. This is where I kind of cheated. I bought a product I was interested in and used my own affiliate code (it's allowed). By doing this I killed four birds with one stone:

    1. Got a product I wanted
    2. Got an awesome rebate on that purchase (my commision)
    3. Got rid of my inactive account status
    4. Went above the threshold so I was paid

A couple of weeks later I got all excited when I got a $33 commission. Went back into depression the next day when it was refunded.

Now, I'm back into inactive status and they are taking their $1 every two weeks.

Here is where I am offering a way to save myself from this situation, and a way for you to help prevent this from happening to you.

Within this free ebook, is the $3 clickbank product gives me a $1.35 commision (you can see a few of them scattered around on my account), and puts my account back into active status.

Once you buy this very informative product, you will be able to re-brand it for yourself and start collecting these little commissions.

For new affiliates, promoting this book will help you get over the "Customer Distrubution Requirement" that prevents/delays many affiliates from getting their first check..

You can download the free ebook From this sales page. Read through all of the informative info and look for the "Silver Package", which is the $3 product.

Thanks for your help, and I hope I'm not breaking any rules with this thread. I'll post a follow up image in a day or so to see if this worked.

Of course this is for real... It's called "Affiliate Panhandling"

Seriously. This free book isn't supposed to teach someone how to succeed with Clickbank. It's supposed to help newbies get over the "newbie hump". You can't get rich or make money off of this $3 product, but there are some interesting marketing strategies in the book. Ideal for those not familiar with how to market Clickbank products. Helps people think beyond the same old marketing techniques.

Anyway... The sales page isn't mine. I didn't write a word of it. All I have is the link.

I havn't been able to work on my sites for quite awhile. Just now getting back into it. I'm focusing on my adsense sites at the moment.

Aweful mindset to be in, RJD is right, wtf, why on earth would anyone want to spend their time learning this "technique" it's worthless... it is not even worth your time to learn this or to do it for $3 here and there.. you could spend the time learning how to build a wordpress site or really promote products... and you definitely shouldn't be promoting $3 products for a start, you need to sell 80 or so of them before you reach the $100 min. payout... this whole post is ridiculous, reminds me why I don't barely visit here anymore... jeez... I feel for you man tbh, but change your mindset, stop focusing on this and learn how to actually make money online...

But my thought is how can you teach someone how to get over the "newbie hump" if you cant get over the hump yourself.Your just trying to sell a $3 junk product to keep your account from being banned. SO what, let them ban you. Just set up a new account. Its not like you have money in your account anyway. If the $8.99 you do have is worth all this trouble then I guess I feel bad for you.......Sorry to be an ass (I am an ass by the way) but I'm just saying what every other person who read this post wanted to say but didn't.If you took all the effort you put into this post, the ebook you wrote and so on, you could have made 5 legit sales by now worth $100 or more.....

Okay... I understand what everyone is saying. Here are a few more facts about my efforts.

I started promoting products with Clickbank in September of 2009. Got my first sale within a week or so. Got my first check from Clickbank in early December.
    091125.jpg

In the early part of March (2010) I was involved in a serious accident and was in the hospital for nearly half a year. Another year of extensive physical therapy. During all of this time all of my sites were ignored. After the first year some of them expired, and some lived on. But only two of my surviving sites were still generating traffic. One clickbank site (which was averaging about 1 sale every six weeks before May of 2011, when traffic suddenly dropped), the other was an Adsense site which seems to have been bringing in $3-$12 per month.

At that time I was promoting about three clickbank products and had about 8 Adsense sites. During my down time I still got 2 checks from Clickbank. I got my fourth check a few months ago.

I just found the will and strength to get back into this about two weeks ago. I'm trying to rebuild my mini-empire (which was still new when I had my accident). I'm starting with my Adsense sites. I haven't done anything with Clickbank yet.

When I first started out, it was always my plan to share my progress with anyone who wanted a fair and realistic view of the progress of someone starting from scratch (good or bad). Which is why I was posting all of my stats on my PROGRESS BLOG. This blog was the only place I was promoting this cheap $3 clickbank product (that I did not write - Although I was wish I had - The guy is a great marketer).

But, since I cannot delete this thread. I will go ahead and start building a clickbank site, and in a few months I will resurrect this thread and post another screenshot. So that we all can see if I can promote a real product.

I get what you are saying but you have to understand that a $125 check from 2009 is not too inspirational to newbies who are looking to find a way.A lot of things have changed since that time.I do you wish you luck with your ventures however!!!

It may not be inspirational, but it is realistic. Making $10,000 per month is very inspirational, but how realistic is it for a newbie.

There are a lot of people who have been working on this for months who have not made a dime. They would be thrilled with a $125 first check. Baby Steps.

Thanks for your well wishes, and I wish you the best with your online adventures.
