My website have about 20 keywords, and one drop to page 34 from page 1. What I need to do, to back my site on first page? THx
That doesn't sound like Panda. If you only dropped one KW then you may have just over optimized or lost a link or two. To me when one KW drops it sounds like some kind of over optimization penalty. Try and mix up your anchor text more.
One tip - review your site contents thoroughly and re-write all of the contents, completely unique. that is the key.
Yes i agree with ePimp you have to try combination of keyword. Approaching through the multiple combination of the keyword is a good way of promotion.
Your site is not affected by Panda. If this was the case then all of your keywords would have gone out of top search results. You can bring back your keyword by using it in Article and Blogs and in Forum signatures as well.
If we knew what Panda was doing it would be easy to counter. My own view is affiliate links play a part.I am not in that market and have seen noth detrimental effect of any Panda update. Basically if your site is OBL monetised you need to be far more careful with link building than if your site actually directly sell something (e.g you are NOT an affiliate or don't have adsense on your site). I have tested this with adsense, the site was struggling, removed adsense jumped in no time. It's a case of testing as much as possible, thats the fun of it.If someone cracked Panda do you realistically expect that sort of info to be shared while it was effective....
New content might help you get back from the previous rank. Take sometime creating fresh & unique content, use varied anchor texts and see how it'll work.. Promote the new content to so you can get backlinks to it to make it push more on SERPs
How old is your site? Is the content unique? If it's under 6 months old, it`s probably "dancing", which is pretty normal for new sites. They usually come back as stronger (after the dance stops).
Site is 11 years old. On home page content have 122 words maybe is this problem? But content is unique. Today one more keyword drop. This keyword I dont have in content or title.
20 keywords on a page is not considered as a good strategy so IMO you should spread keywords on different pages.
Check your content, make sure you do not have some duplication going on with the keywords. I agree check your links as well first. Make sure you have the same links coming in as before. If that has not changed, then start looking into the content ect....
Mr. smindsrt seems said it correct. when it is Panda.. then whole website get affected. It will help analyze if you give link to that page.
Straight from the horse’s mouth - If it’s your SERP ranking that’s plummeting, check this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gx04qNrCbnk And, its not necessary that your website is victim of Panda attack, you should start concentrating on quality of content published on your website.
