    What is the best search term to use on finding directories that are US based ideally from Pennsylvania or directories that are farm, poultry, or food-related

    You can check out Directory Critic. You can find free directories as well as Niche directories related to food, animals, pets etc

    Thanks, I have used directory critic but most of the sites listed are not working anymore I need an effective search term to use when searching for directories

    Do several separate searches with "directory" included. For example, "farm directory", "farming directory", "agriculture directory", etc. Try to think of synonyms and somewhat related topics to your niche and you'll be able to think up 30 or 50 different combinations that will help you find good directories.

    yes, critic directory is good list but vmoptions, web-directories.ws and directory maximizer is not bad directories list.
