I just want to carify something for those who do not know... You must of heard the saying "the money is in the list"??? Well thats saying is not just some marketing ploy or rumor that is going around! The money really is in the list... Are you focusing your efforts on list building? If not what are you focusing your efforts on? Are you focusing at all? The sooner you set your self a clear vision of what you want the sooner you will start to attack your goals and make small pieces of progress... I want you to think about this... When you are list building you only have to get this traffic once and then you can market to it forever. What makes more sense/ sending traffic to a sales page where over 90% of your traffic leaves that page never to be seen again or.... Sending traffic to a higher converting opt in page/ free gift page where you capture at least 50% of your traffic then get to market to that traffic forever. I know what makes more sense to me. Sending traffic to a sales page is not building a business it is hoping for a quick buck! Sending traffic to an opt in page with an autoresponder webform on it is building a busines because your list grows over time... I am well awear that many know this but I am also awear that many do not... Build that list guys and girls, because once the hard part at the start is done you really will have push button money... Kindest regards Louis D
Great post! I don't know how many times I see this a day. The money is truly in the list, and the sooner you put your efforts towards builind a strong list, the better for you it will be in the long run, provided you give your readers a reason to stay on your list. Also when list building, try to overgive your subscribers content. Meaning, give them things of extra value such as free ebook bonuses etc. It will prove to be beneficial to you later for sure.
"Push button money" <== I love that.. It is true though.. Having a list can really be money on demand.. I've witnessed this for myself.. One thing though... That list must be targeted.. I built a list of 900 people in little over a month (free by the way) but they were not targeted at all. I made a few hundred bucks from it but they just signed up to get a book I was giving away on beings successful.. I was trying to market money making stuff to them and they just were buying it.. I soon decided to delete that list after seeing my opens and clicks go down. Learned from my mistake and now I'm ready to do it again... Moral of this story and the thread is BUILD A LIST... NO MATTER WHAT... great post
ya i too heard this listing will really help to build the business online for marketing a product or a service.
the hard work is building the list itself. i still don't know any shortcuts for that except giving something in return to get subscribers.
send veyr good valuable info, then your list automatically listens you whatever you ask them to BUY! the larger the list, the more Bucks U can make..
Building a very targeted list is undoubtedly a very smart way to make money online. You just need to make sure that you build a good rapport with the people on your list and avoid spamming them -- offer them products/services that they would genuinely be interested in.
People talk about an internet marketing "Magic Button" and the possibilities of it's existence. Well I can tell you it's real, I've seen it. You all have it but completely overlook it, only a few people use it right. The "Magic Button" is labelled "Send" I've seen people earn $40K-$50K per email, it's that powerful.
Once we build up the list, we can build RELATIONSHIP with the visitors. Don't try to sell anything to your visitor when they first visit your websites!!
Great posts in this thread which have NOTHING to do with the list building coaching you guys are all pushing in your sigs...
Quite possibly the worst suggestion I've ever heard. I get the concept, build your list and you can market to them repeatedly. HOWEVER, saying that you should never sell anything to your website visitors when they first reach your site isn't a good suggestion. Mailing lists are good if they don't want to directly and immediately buy whatever it is your selling. You then have at least some level of interest and you can use an ebook or some other resource to help wet their appetite for your service or product. However, don't be afriad to jump right out of the gate and tell people exactly why they should buy whatever it is you are selling. Sometimes, they are searching for your product and want a quick and easy solution to buying it!
I will suggest pre-sale method will be the best for list building as well as for conversion.. Even if they didn't give the attention to your pre-sale maybe they will come back to it after benefiting from your pres-selling product...
Thankyou my friend, I will post some free traffic techniques for everyone very soon... I am quite busy but I know some people here need it, so I am on the case
