Obama orders drones to the skies over Oslo

US/Norway tensions have been building since nobel peace prize laureate Barack Obama ordered the assasinaton of a US citizen on Yemeni soil last year. Rumors have since surfaced that Obama's Nobel Prize was actually physically placed inside the missile that took out Al Alawki without trial, and the words, "In the Name of Peace" were written on the missile casing.

Escalating tensions, the Nobel Committee has nominated Private Bradley Manning for a peace prize, as he sits in prison being held by the Obama Adminstration awaiting trial. These types of nominations are normally issued to fearless political dissidents who bravely speak out against, and from within, oppressive regimes.

REfusing to be intimidated, Obama has ordered US Predator Drones to the skies over Norway in an effort to pressure the Nobel committee to cease and desist in its subversive activites.

    Developing...

Earlpearl, while I can appreciate you use white house press releases as your one and only source of information, I really think you need to broaden your horizons. Let me help you out here....

Obama wins Nobel Peace Prize 9 months into his presidency.. Says it is a "Call to Action"

Obama targets US Citizens for assassination by the military, bypassing process of law and trial by jury of peers

Nobel committee nominates a man charged with treason by the Obama Admin for the Peace Prize

I suspect that, when the Nobel Committee finally follows through on it's threat to take back Obama's peace prize, we are going to see drone strikes in Oslo

What is soooo cool about President O, is that words have taken on new meaning. Take the word "Peace" in his Nobel Peace prize, for instance. I wonder if the Nobel committee has ever seen this movie...

Sometimes I look back on my threads and think why bother...this one shows me why. Obamanation I think you're as big a nutter as anyone here, for that I say thank you. Do you think we're as bad as IsraeI/Mikael? You, turning people on to Obama and me turning them on to Tony Abbott. We probably both need to learn to shut up but hey, my excuse is, it's lighthearted entertainment. This thread made me LoL.

Glad I could make you laugh. The real question is, in the cold light of hind sight, do you think Obama deserves a nobel peace prize, or that the Nobel committee regrets giving him one? I think Bradley's nomination speaks volumes on what they think regarding the matter.

Obamanation are you gonna reveal to these clowns that NATO drones constantly patrol all of our air space ? I think you should let them boil some more ... uuups . Ah well they could have just googled it .

It's unfortunate that a irresponsible brat like Manning that has the innocent blood of thousands on his hands is nominated for the peace prize . Look like they ran out of people to give the prize to . Personally I'd give it to the Mexican president for having the balls to wage war on narcotics .

I don't really care who they give it to to be honest. If they want to give a prize isn't it up to them to decide whose worthy of it? I will say it was surprising Obama got the prize but can't say if he did or didn't deserve it because I don't know the criteria required.

Recently, I've decided I really don't like Islamists on this planet and anything we can do to get rid of them from the earth is good imho. However all that rhetoric against Manning with no backup requires defense. Please provide proof of Manning's actions causing 100 dead, how about 50, or even just 10. oh you can't that's right because all he did was show some of our actions are worse than the terrorists. However I can show you thousands upon thousands of innocent dead at the hands of NATO. What makes them right?

Is this a court trial ? I don't think so . There is no need to prove beyond all reasonable doubt that his actions killed thousands . It's a well known fact that undercover intel officers where exposed as a result of his actions . Since most of the ops where black ops (like Operation Neptune Spear) we won't have the cold hard fats anytime soon . It's a good thing that the CIA used red teaming for the Bin Laden intel otherwise that op would have also been compromised . Each agent exposed and killed and each death provoked by terror cells that weren't stopped has Manning's blood on it .

NATO did inflict a lot of collateral damage such is the unfortunate nature of war , show me a 10 year war when civilians weren't hit and then point the fingers . The NATO campaigns in the past decade removed 3 regimes and sent a clear message to our enemies . Manning's action to leak the names of undercover intel officers served no one but the islamists . If he had a shred of decency or intelligence he would have removed those files before passing the whole package to Wikileaks .

So NATO has collateral damage and Manning killed thousands of innocents, okay, I get it now.

And, your spelling has picked up, I applaud you. All you need to know now is the difference between where and were. (I'll put fats down to a typo but the "were" seems a constant confusion for you).

    Where: where are you going?
Were: Were you going to church today?
We're: We're going to church today.

Whilst on the subject of confusions, for the Americans here, the "I could give a shit about" is normally "I couldn't give a shit" to proclaim you don't care.
If you "could give a shit" then it stands to reason you must care enough to give stuff (pay), even if it is with shit.

Details , details misfortunate spelling happens . It ain't something I'm proud off . You've yet to show me a 10 year old war where civilians didn't get killed . Why do you think people dislike wars ? Because sooner or later there's a good chance of them finding themselves on the front lines . Also Manning didn't bothered to remove that info , all he had to do was press delete on a few freaking files . NATO on the other hands goes to great lengths to avoid civilian casualties , when civilian casualties weren't important like in WWII the civilian casualties were be in the dozens of millions .

Not at all, apparently the new paradigm is I don't need to provide proof for my baseless accusations. No need to show proof, just so long as you can claim it as righteous, seems to be the way to go here.

Neither does rhetoric help yours. In reality to say that Manning's actions caused the death of thousands yet NATOs unlawful killing of hundreds of thousands of civilians is okay, well that's pretty foolish too imho. You know the saying, when in Rome...

Be a bit more realistic, Manning has not been found guilty of anything. So far we have an unproven case against him and a proven case of guilt against NATO. You're right about it not being a court but wrong about not providing at least a tiny bit of evidence to back up your assertions. Whilst you might think it's okay to be evil to acheive a 'just' goal, in my mind I think it makes us worse than our enemies.

As usual you and logic are eternal enemies . If massive armada engaged in a global war kills some civilians it's unlawful killing (the terrorists we're fighting really care about laws you know) but if a 2 bit piece of s*** soldier betrays his own country he's a hero . See Bushranger this is why your a suicidal masochist , you hate and accuse the people protecting your ass and glorify the moron who's actions lead to more heroin on every street in the world . I'm sure that the Aussies that ODed because the CIA had to pull back are very very happy seeing how Manning is defending the freedom of the world ... except that they're dead and all that is left is the tears of their families , all because one guy refused to purge one a few files .

Actually it is you and logic that don't go together. Somebody minding their own business, probably doing their best to stay out of this stupid war yet are subject to being blown to smitherenes accidentally, ooops, against an actual combatant simply being named and shamed instead of blown to bits is terrible. You prefer the latter to pick on as being terrible. That is indeed crazy imho.

Named and shamed for infiltrating terror cells ? Talking about lack of logic . So if you dare to infiltrate a terrorist organization with the purpose of stopping it's actions you should be ashamed of yourself ? On a scale of 0 to 3 how many seconds did you though before posting this ? A few posts ago you hated jihadist but now you offer your full blown support .

Also why is this war so stupid ? Because it stopped further 9/11s . Busharanger you special person NATO doesn't want you dead the however the jihadists would put you in the gallows in no time . Who's side are you on ?

Wow ! I saw this on all the news it was also front page on USA Today, Washington Post, Baltimore Times, Maryland Gazzette and New York Times. I haven't seen Los Angeles Times or any California newspapers yet. This is so hot and President Obama gave the order to invade the UK.

Bushranger, do you know if there are any Wikileaks about this drone stuff in Norway ?

    @O_Nation:

With regard to your questions referencing the Nobel Peace Prize:

    A.) Who cares
B.) What is the purpose of even asking this question or using this line of reasoning other than to take attention away from the Extremist Right Wing 4 Stooges who are running to be the nominee for President on the Extremist Right Wing ticket...and have recently moved the conversations into a realm where they are rapidly gaining extremist similarity to the Islamic mullahs that suppress women?

meanwhile. Very entertaining movie. Do you watch it every night while mixing scotch and hallucinogenic drugs?
