I registered this domain originally in 1997 and promptly forgot about it (back then it was registered through my company). I re-registered it this year because of its age, but I'm not sure what to do with it. Surprisingly to me the "livewire" keyword is fairly popular, so I was trying to decide what its worth was. Domain: LCLIVEWIRE.COM Registered: May of 1997 Backlinks: a few, but are now supplemental Activity: Domain is currently parked at dreamhost, I haven't done anything to it since I re-registered it. Thanks for the help!

Kill me... then why OP said registered in 1997. I thought he meant he kept on renewing... In that case you are right its value is $0 to reg fee...
If you check Archive.org you'll see a site on this domain dating back to 1997 (the original registration for the domain). That site is LONG gone, but the domain WAS registered back then. Does the domain registration have to be continuous for the value to be maintained?
Good to know. Then never mind as this domain was languishing for years before I remembered its existence. I love this forum, I learn something new every day.
yep i checked the whois it will be reg value only, not registered in 97 .. probably he has picked some old droped domain not sure why he wrote it as old date
