I highly doubt that ALL the links disapeared! hahaha

And if they did, then it is no longer a PR6, as the PageRank algorithm directly relates to the strength of the inbound links a domain/page has. If the backlinks are ALL gone, with not a single domain linking to a domain, THEN THE PR IS GONE - or certainly it will NOT be a valid pr6!

What you see in the toolbar, and by using various online tools, shows you what the last measured PR of the site was.

Google PageRank updates on a regular basis, but they only update what WE see every few months. Meaning what we see is outdated.

So, in short, if this domain has NO backlinks, then on the next PageRank update, it will drop it's PR.

Furthermore, if you check this link: http://min.us/mbbBiX68Jw#1o (MODS! - This is NOT a shortened URL!!! It is just a link to an image, and is here to help fellow DPers NOT get ripped off!)

You will see the historic backlinks (E.g. including OLD links) for that domain, pulled from my pro account at MajesticSEO.com. This shows 0 backlinks.

This all adds up to one thing...

    NOT VALID PR6!

I am NOT accusing you of trying to scam anyone, as it may be that you didn't realise there was a problem. But, in short, there is a problem.

    No worries :)

Like I say, maybe the seller didn't realise there was a problem, but there is, I am pretty confident of that!

    Cheers :)

If the seller didn't know - why is he asking so low a price for a PR6 domain? I believe he/she is well aware and its intentional. Just go to any domain auction market like GoDaddy - a valid PR6 domain with quality in-bound links is going to cost you close to $1000!
