New site with unique content straight into supplemental?

    Hi,
I've just developed a new site homeloaninfo.com.au, paid a content writer to write some content and now I find the site's content has been put straight into the supplemental result.

I thought on page optimisation was ok, i have submitted a sitemap & have google crawling the pages every couple of days.

I have a link from a closely related pr4 site & am looking to acquire a couple more.

Can anyone alert me to what i have done wrong to be placed straight into supplemental?

    Cheers

Your meta description is blank - it really needs to be unique for each page so that Google doesn't put you in to the Supplemental Index.

Make sure that your content is unique and get more links to your site and even better would be links to deep pages in your site.

...and wait couple of weeks. there are unique, 5000+ page and 5+ years old sites in supplementals so why yours should be treated the different way? just wait, google will fix it´s problem sooner or (more probably) later...

The "boilerplate" content on many of your pages is the same as other pages, and that content is greater than your unique content on many of those pages. Therefore, Google thinks that your pages are pretty much duplicates of each other and sends them to the supplemental index ("Google Hell"). You should add more content to each page, or reduce the amount of duplicated material. It takes a while (sometimes weeks) to get out of the supplemental index, in my experience.

    Thanks for your reply everyone

One question in regards to 'boilerplate' content & links.

I've removed the 100 word description beside each of the links at the bottom of the article page...this should help to keep words down and bring focus back to the article...

In regards to the links to other articles, do I have too many internal links on an article page (homeloaninfo.com.au/Canberra-Home-Loans-Reviewed.htm for example) The links under the sections Home Loans Information By Location & Most requested home loan information remain the same on every page is this an issue?

    Once again, appreciate your assistance

In my opinion, yes, there are too many links and too much that is alike between pages. A very similar situation threw my pages into supplemental a while back and it took months to get them out again after I removed most of the links. Again, you could significantly increase the unique content on each page to help resolve the problem.
