A year ago, digital point was a famous place for back links sellers or seoer to buy pr domain to make seo for their business or web site.
But a year leave, there are all cheating and scamming!

What I have to say this?
When I checking the domains which is on selling................
I See that Almost domains is `Zero BackLinks' or `Zero PA' (What's PA:Seomoz Rank)
When asked by buyer , the scamer said that "I am just selling a dropped domain, I don't know anythings.."

Do You think We are idiots? Or you may a idiot???
AS A CUSTOMER, WE KNOW MORE THAN THE SELLER?
YOU DON'T KNOW Why it has PR? are you kidding US?

Don't Use A JOKE to lie what you do! We do know that how's going on...
Some dropped domains are having Strong back links , why yours are "ZERO"? and even used 301 on the internet hisory?

I want to tell You(the thief seller)

DON'T Make Scamming anymore! We need a valid domain,
we need a domain can give us a seo value,
not a number, We are NOT NEED A NUMBER OF GOOGLE WITHOUT any Value!!!

JUNK Domains and Fake PR To SEO?
    No benefits!

I believe after a year, all buyer will not go digitalpoint again and just say " there is a such place with Thief and NO any Real domains"
I hope that will not be happened.

If you are agreed , please give me a reply!

Some tips for buyer to check domains:
Please check the domain history find different tools,
Please check the back links on different checker ( because in this moment, there is not a Prefect checked seem as Yahoo explorer,
Please check the Seomoz rank ( If domains are `0' Rank will difficult to have pr ) (However, Seomoz cannot catch full internet, at this moment, seomoz can only gain 50% site links of google, but if `0' semoz but get pr7, will you trust? )

I think it is good for you! buyers!

You are talking to a brick wall (scammers) Although you have good intentions, it's all in vain.

    Thanks Bro...

    To buyers...

Go to archive.org and search the domain name. Sometimes it will just pop up and show you the 302 redirection. Other times it will say there is no archive of that site.

In the first case RUN AWAY. In the second, do more link analisis but PREPARE TO RUN AWAY.

I totally agree with you. PR7 domains with PA/DA 0 is a mystery to me. So, I never buy cheap domains with a few backlinks. I have another concern which is getting false negative feedback. There is no monitoring of feedback system. I don't mean to change the topic of this thread. DP has several problems because it is such a large forum and managing it is not easy.
But, I don't think there is any practical solution to any of these problems. It would be great to see somebody come up with a practical solution and getting it implemented.

I guess you could state in the sales thread the PR is faked to inform potential buyers.

If seeing any seller who are selling the domains which seem to be faked , we have to note and ask! That is our right
When one buyer note it, other buyer can save his time as he don't have to check it.

Also, we might need some effective tools to check backlinks or check domains's history, check REDIRECTION or not...

Guys take a look at this fake domain farm.

    http://amazine.info/sakima/537868-inexpensive-personal-finance.html

The $2 .info domains in the article are been cooked up to be pr 7s by 301 redirecting them to a .edu PR7 site.

Once they are ready, you see them for sale here as the scammer is present in this domain forum.

The new craze is to call the domains "dropped" instead of "fake".

    Be very careful guys.

I have a partial solution: lets embrace a new standard:
Natural PR = The domain derives its PageRank from natural strong backlinks profile and not from manipulations.
I even created a nice mark for that:

    Thank You for this info.

    Rep given.

I knew something fishy was going on. So the domains I bought are possibly gonna lose their PR soon, aren't they?

Yes very likely Andrew. If you see just a name but has rank its google job almost to make sure it looses rank. I real PR rank site, if dropped will likely be bought at auction and a site put up right away, or a for sale page. Here as well as other places need to do due dillegence. A site with real PR5 is really something so to buy them here at likely money. Remember to look at that if buying sites as well, that wave will likely be next. The PR rank names has taken over this section of the forsale forum and not many other ads for names to buy or sell.

    LOL Blue,

It has become so hard to find real domains, you had to make an ad in your signature in ALL CAPS :)

Gone are the days when you come here, look for a domains you like, check info: on google and voila.
