Seems a hard thing to find a good niche wright?Well,is not!!There are only three easy steps to folow: 1.First step is to do some research. We need to find ten possible niches that resonance with us.A one way for good inspiration is to go to your nearest magazine store and look for magazines that are best selling, second way is to search a well known store online for books(there are all categorized niches) like dummies.com. You want to choose that niches that are top searched (it means that is a big demand for that niche). There are many ways to get inspired on finding good niches such as asking you friend or people that you know what are they are looking on the web or store and there you heave. 2.Second step is to discover how many people are searching on Google, our selected niches.Go to Google AdWords (is a free tool for keyword searches)and type in your selected niche. In the results, that Google AdWords showed, you want at least 20.000 searches conducted by people, to be a good niche. 3.This step is about determining if our niche is profitable. How we determine this: we conduct a search on Google this time, typing our selected and take a look to see if are some sponsored links related(sponsored links are sites that pays Google to advertise them), preferable to see at least 2-3 links, if aren't, then our niche is not good enough. Why we need to see if our niche is competitive? Because where is competition are buyers. If our niche doesn't have a competition then we have to go back to Google AdWords and type our name niche, but this time a look at suggested keyword to related search. Those are keywords related with our niche name that we can use. Easy, no?What is your opinion?? PLEASE FELL FREE TO POST YOUR OPINION
@contentvisionz - I agree, this is good for new internet marketers, but its also a reminder for experienced marketers as well. I would just add, you can also do reverse engineering everything by whats being sold on "click bank" and seeing what shows more gravity and sales so you can get an idea of which good niche to aim. This can be a huge factor of making $100, or $1,000 depending the niche. Other then finding a good niche, I would advise to learn the basics of seo as key to making a niche to actually be profitable.
I am also following the same method for keyword search but i have question, using niche in off-page optimization would be more useful or generic keywords ?
I suggest you use the google alert. this will help you filtering newest post and relevant to your website.
