LyricsList.info - 140,000 lyrics - Album Art

Hello,

I am selling www.LyricsList.info. It provides song lyrics from artists from 311 to Zebrahead. All the songs are categorized by album with album art (if apliccable, more on that below). I personally wrote the entire site in PHP (with a MySQL backend) and uses Apache (mod rewrite) for search engine friendly URLS

For the album art, I wrote a script that will go through the database, then searches for that album on amazon, then return the album art link. This function works with probably 80% success (some albums arent on amazon etc). I will include this script with the site, but you may not resell it or distribute it in any way.

The domain is registered at godaddy.com for 1 year for a free push to the new owner.

Traffic is negligible at this point. I am selling because I am good at programming, but am terrible at promoting sites.

a couple questions that i have

1)when does auction end
2)how many other sites are using this script
3)do you plan on selling this script at another time or using it on another site
4)would the new owner have full rights to the script
5)is there any traffic
6)any revune on this site
7)would the broken links be fixed like http://www.lyricslist.info/songs/g.g._allin

 

1) It will end 2 days after I made the first post
2) There are no other sites with this script
3) I plan on selling the same script 2 more times over the next 3 months (on turnkey sites, with different layouts).
4) I have not thought about this much. Perhaps something like- the new owner can sell it, but Id rather not have my script flooded everywhere.
5) Very minimal, ~5-10 uniques a day
6) No revenue. I have not put advertisements on the site. However, ads would only need to be placed on 3 pages for it to show up throughout the entire site.
7) Yes, I will fix those links, its probably a small bug in the url rewriting. For the next while you may see a message on the site called "temp debug: ", thats just me debugging the url rewriting, its only temporary

 

can you also post as in what rights the new owner of the script would have it may be of help to know what your buying

The links are fixed now, I believe. (the url rewriting was failing when there was a period in the artist or song title). If you happen to find any broken links, I will fix them.

Okay, so I thought about what rights the new owner will have. The new owner may sell the script, database, and/or turnkeys no more than 3 times.

However, I will entertain offers for unrestricted, shared resell rights via PM.
