I guess it depends on how much effort you want to put into trying to draw traffic to it. Add new content, post articles about your site or on the relevant niche (link to your site), do some backlinking etc. -- this will help increase your page rank. I can't give you a time frame, especially if you want/expect your site to move up automatically.

keep on working on getting more dofollow backlink, you will get PR 2 on next PR update if you have enough PR juice

Wow, that is amazing in my opinion, you got PR1 with just only 46 days? Just wondering.

The number of days really isn't important. Creating quality backlinks is one thing that can help with page rank.

PR in one month is pretty good. I have some sites that after 1 year are still at PR0 and some other sites after the same time reached PR 4. Go figure. Nobody knows what how exactly Google's algorithm works.

It is not depended on the number of days/age that the site/domain have/exist. pagerank is depended on the number of backlinks our site have (links to our site from other websites). having more number of backlinks raises the chance to achieve good PR.

Its nice getting a PR in short time, but always its not in your hands and it doesn have a timeframe.. You got PR 1 in 46 days doesn mean you will get PR2 in 92 days. It only depends on your efforts in creating backlinking.. So focus on SEO..

The increase or change in Page Rank does not depend on the age of the website, but depends on the number of backlinks it has.
Stay focused on building the backlinks.

My company site's PR has increased to 2. How much time it will take to increase a PR of 5?

I double that. You can try techniques such as link wheels, blog commenting, social bookmarking etc

Thank you for all your replies. I have server side redirected one of my site to the new site. That site PR was 3. Now it is down to PR1. What is the problem. I was read about google pagerank upgrade in a blog. They wrote that the next PR upgrade date will be in between june and july. Then how is my site gone to PR1.

It isn't astonishing at all, it is not difficult to get a PR1. It just happened that Google showed the updated PR 46 days after the site was launched, if it had been launched two weeks earlier it would have been 60 days. I registered a new site last November, it has just been given a PR3 so that's PR3 in about 90 days for what it is worth. I have another site that went live in May last year, and by November it was PR4 (180 days). The point is that it is just a measure of the backlinks to those sites, there is no magic and no secrets involved, just careful link building.
