Just try it.....

1) Select any number
2) Add the same number to it
3) Add 10 to the result
4) Divide the result by 2
5) Subtract the number from the result that you selected first

your answer is......... " 5 "..........

Am i correct.....

 

yep you are right . I try it. and its really nice.

 

that is of course right,No matter what you select first,the answer will be like what you said.
You can select the Number to be X then follow the steps.
1) X
2) 2X
3) 2X + 10
4) (2X+10)/2 = x+5
5) X+5-X=5
So no matter that number you select,the answer can be the same.

Though I know all such tricks can be settled by a simple way, I still think it's interesting. Good.

This is really great. Lovely trick.

 

I learned this trick from my brother when I was in 4th grade. Its simple the no. you take doesn't matter cause first you multiply by two then divide by to and the remove the no. SO you have got only half of 10 that is five.

 

I know this is good math magic when I was child.
