WP Problem in Admin

Hi, I have a strange problem. I have the latest version of WP and in the admin page, when creating a new blog post, I am unable to click to schedule the post. I click here on edit: Publish immediately Edit. But it is not clickable. And none of the other functions are clickable as well.
Has anyone experienced anything like this before and do you have any idea how to resolve it?
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

    1. Disable all plugins. See if that fixes it. If it does not, move to step 2.
    2. Reinstall core wordpress files.

I second what samirj09 says and merely want to emphasize it. It's definitely a plugin that's causing the problem.

Thanks for the quick reply. Going to try that now. If I do have to reinstall, how do I do that as my version is the latest?
    Thanks again

OK, that did not work to disbale all plugins.
On to step 2. I can not update through the admin as the latest version is installed.

Yes you can. Click updates in your menu and click the "re-install" button.
If not, you'll have to do it via FTP.

Hate to break it to you, Honeybee1, but disabling plug-ins may not be enough. They really should be removed (i.e. deleted), and then re-installed one at a time until you can identify the one that's causing the problem.

OK, no problem I will try that. I have the same plugins on the same blog theme on several of my blogs though and do not get the same issue.
I will delete and reinstall and see how that goes.
    Thanks

Also, after deleting all the plugins, and re-installing WP version, I still have same issue.
So even with no plugins, issue persists.
    Thanks

Make sure your browser is the most up to date version.
That's not just WordPresss. That's the web. The same thing happens when you try and execute functions on other sites like Facebook, if you have certain scripts blocked, or your browser isn't reading it correctly because it hasn't been updated.

Yes, I tried it on several browsers as I had also thought that. But, I do not get this error on any other of my blogs.
I am still trying to figure out what it is.
I did not update the DB or updoad a new DB.

The only other thing I can think of, is I once had a simular problem with the image uploaded. Turns out that one file was missing from the WordPress install. It had somehow been skipped and kept skipping the same file no matter how many times I installed it.

If I remember correctly, it was somewhere in the wp-admin folder and it may have been a js. file.
I'd go through that folder manually, compare it to a fresh set of WP files and insure that every folder and sub folder has every file that it's supposed to.

I scheduled some posts to be published at a future date today without issue.
    thanks all
