Anyone every heard of budurl?

    My company Twitter is being spammed by people advertising budurl. Anyone ever heard of it? Is it spam?

    Based on what I've read, BudURL is a URL shortener but how can this be beneficial? Any answer would be appreciated.

    Maybe this is a case of bad marketing practices? In my experience I had situations when our competitors created whole marketing campaign advertising US through SPAM techniques...our reputation actually suffered, but fortunately this misunderstanding was resolved in a couple of weeks
