350 DVD, lets say those are worth $3 each =$1050
3 cartons of cigarettes=36 pack*$10 =$360
2 Computers, nothing illegal babout it but let say those were worth =$800
2 external hard disk and one usb key, nothing illegal but assume it is worth= $200

Total of the proceeds of the bust =$2410, vey big crime lets call FBI, CIA, Interpol, DEA,.....

 

Well, for Quebec, that is fairly big time. It is practically a third world country within a country.

 

I agree in comparison with your ancestral city of Tijuana, Quebec is quite small. I think more than $2500 of drugs pass through there to USA in every minute.

But they probably suspect they're running a counterfeit DVD business. I'm sure that's why they took their computers to analyze. 350 DVD's could just be the amount they're selling every week. Once they find their Ebay store, the value of the bust could jump considerably.

 

I didn't know that this thread had moved towards preaching philosophical doctrine.

Simply advocating for not only people to just somehow all get more intelligent about the process and also comparing the role of protesting to the scientific methods within science are benign and impractical. They're not going to get the job done more simply put. Obviously you're against protest in any fashion and would rather see all people get smarter within the context of political intelligence. I'd like for you to elaborate on how you would recommend for tens of millions of Americans to gain this political IQ and then what methods you suggest for this process of enlightenment. What I was referring to were different forms of protest as there are many types. This country was founded on protesting against bad policy by way of the British. These were not teenage fantasies, sir, they were a way to protest in the only manner that could accomplish their goals. Sometimes, things can be as simple as continuing to find a way, or method, that is both feasible and works toward what goals you are trying to accomplish.

 

I think you are mixing the facts, your friend with girl name is not from Quebec. I am sure the Mexican in you is quite enjoying the friendship.

 

A slap at Mexicans based on the idea they like Quebecois transvestites? If you are trying to use the least words to apply homophobic insults to the most people, I'm sure you could have replaced at least 5 of the words in those two sentences with names of other ethnicities for a bigger impact. Personally, I think you should quit trying to be witty and cutting, and take pride in one of the few areas Quebec actually excels. Just trying to help here .
