You just use the menu choice of "view source" with firefox or ie6 or 7. You don't need to use the right click. If you are trying to protect images, you are better off using a watermark. If someone wants to copy an image or view source, there is no way to stop them. Using javascript to disable the right click can irritate visitors who just want to use the back or bookmark function.

Even if you put "no right click" on your site, they could also steal your works ..
I'd recommend you read this article: How Do I Keep People From Stealing My Stuff?

IF some one really wanted to take your stuff they still could even with out right click. But I guess it would put people off it there is on right click.

i use the no right click code on some of my pages!
i like it just to have the pop up message telling people to email or buy stuff etc!
and it helps not many users know how or want to view source code etc!

    oh
ps the code doesnt work on firefox!
so if they have fire fox like a lot most web surrfers now days do!
the code wont work and is a waste of time!

I leave sites the moment I see a right click blocker. I right click alot, but mostly to use open in new tab so that I can load several pages and not forget to read them.

As has been pointed out, it's no protection. Your code and images are in my cache - they're there if I really want them.
