Google+ or Facebook

i want to know if google+ will help website ranking?

and where is more traffic on google+ or facebook

 

As of now both are good, but Facebook is more powerful and effective than Google +, Facebook got 800 Million active Users and G+ got 40 Million Active users, but a research says that by the end of 2012-13 G+ will become more powerful than Facebook. Thank You

 

As of now, Facebook definitely has more website traffic than Google + as Facebook has more than 845 million users worldwide.
On the down side, research suggests that Facebook has suffered from a decline in traffic from US and Canada after it hit 700 million users.
As a result, Google + has a lot of potential as well - especially when it comes to marketing potential.
Once it becomes more accessible via apps and other applications, it may overtake Facebook.
Google + will definitely help with website ranking but it may not be as effective as Facebook, as Facebook currently has more traffic.

He is asking about the effectiveness in terms of SEO, not how big each social network is.

 

This one is easy to answer... why are you trying to compare which one is better for SEO?... Use both!... There are so many FREE ways to help boost your sites and you should make use of them all.. It's that simple..

 

I'm seeing much more FB interaction on my sites, much more then G+1. There doesn't seem to much activity on G+1 it seems most people joined the social network for marketing purposes, but unlike FB it doesn't have that core group of normal users.

 

if G+ provide free & user friendly services than G+ can beat to facebook

The simple and obvious answer here is that you don't have to choose. You can use both, and more such as twitter, tumblr, flickr... etc...

You would imagine that Google+ would be better than FB, but I have had no extra ranking juice come from listing on it. I think that G+ probably nofollow their own social network

well there are no "h ref" references on any of the profile links, just text. Anyone got any comments on this? I will analyse with SeoQuake later and get back to you on that, but not looking hopeful

 

I think g+ is better. when you search keyword on google, if your friends in your circles share their information contain your keywords, they will display on google's result. And about your website ranking, it doesn't help to hight pagerank more

 

one thing you must know is NO one can compete with facebook.Google + can just compete so its advisable to concentrate your strength on facebook. may google + is the future but now stick with fb

 

Facebook is more familiar to everyone. Google + is not that much effective as Facebook.

In social media we will consider two major activities facebook or g+, of course facebook having more traffic from google+ but both are well for traffic.
