I'm new to CB. Need to know how to select a profitable product. Need some guidelines. I have sites on with good SERP related to different niche. How can I make the most of CB?
Gravity = how many sales are being made by affiliates and the vendor. In theory the more sales people are making that means the product is selling BUT that also means heavy competition. My success comes off of IM products and gaming niches. But I also make good money off of "off the wall" products with low gravity. that means an open market with low competition. You need to find something to promote you enjoy and like. It is alot easier to make money that way. I tried to promote shit I did not enjoy just b/c it paid good but I got so bored with it I just quit. Would you rather make 10 sales a day @ $20 a piece with something you enjoy or 3 sales a day @ $40 doing something you do not enjoy????
For any affiliate that uses clickbank one thing is for sure, it can be very confusing to work out what sells and what doesn’t right, I'm suggestion: CBSurge After all, some say you need to look at the gravity of the product where others say you need to look at the popularity…Its all very confusing. What if these ideas were both wrong, would that make a difference to what products you choose to promote online as an affiliate. you can have this tool from here http://www.mediafire.com/?c5n3chyiscrwc41
As others have already pointed out, looking at the gravity of a product is a good place to begin when assessing the profitability of a product. You'll find that the most popular products are generally in health and marketing, but both are highly competition (and broad) niches - if you select a product in either of these categories, expect to put in quite a bit of effort when you're starting out.
Gravity may means a lot of affiliates are making a sale...but it also depends on your passion and knowledge. The more you're willing to invest the time to write up and promote the product, the better your chance of success.
Most people already mentioned it, but gravity is a good determinant of what product you can choose, but to really find a good product, it is really about what niche you're in, and how much you research about that niche. You can have a product that sells really well, but if you're not really tapping into your niche you won't see much because the people that are going to buy these products want to know that the person reccommending the product is a trustworthy person. If you provide quality content in your campaign, and the right product to match your efforts will pay off trust me. It is just a matter of going a little deeper than the surface. It takes more time, but it WILL be woth the time.
