Which is the best tool to estimate traffic on a website

I just want to know which is the best reliable tool to estimate traffic on a website from Google.

There are number of websites giving that information but all have different stats.
1) Google Keyword
2) myDNS Stats
3) Traffic Estimate
4) Compete
5) Quantcast

etc etc

Please tell me the best and the reliable tool.

Alexa is best (get the toolbar)

its obvious my friend Analytics is one of the best tool for estimating traffic.

 

Use a combination of sites, Alexa, statbrain, websiteoutlook, any other sites you can find. This is what I do and it works well to estimate! Wish you luck

I only using Google Analytics from the start and it is the simplest tool that I have every used. Love it!

 

there are a number of good tools available but i personally use Webfire which was developed by Shawn Casey Internet Marketer award winner 2011. I hope this helps.

 

Alexa is not that accurate for small websites. I had a test page that didn't even have a domain it was just an IP address (192.168.xxx.xxx) and I was in the top 100.000 because I had alexa toolbar on my browser and i visited my blog regularly.

Google analytics is one of the best out there. You can also check the services that cloudflare offers they have some decent tools for measuring traffic and protecting you from spam and threats .

 

One thing to keep in mind is that Google (and other analytic programs) use JavaScript, so they are by no means perfect in recording actual numbers of visitors. Ranking services like Alexa are also not perfect because they base the information off of their toolbar. I would use this as guides & pattern idenfication & not absolutes.

 

cpanel also gives these details but i think Google Analytic is the best tool, as Google is the most extensively used Search Engine and google analytic gives information according to it. Even while Promoting our site we keep in our mind promoting on Google.
