    I amhoping to put adsense on my Youtube vids and now wondering if there are any particular management method stands out.


    Most of my videos bomb, but one or two have attracted decent traffic. I am wondering if, for example, it is better to add adsense once traffic starts to climb, or is it better put in place right off the bat?

    Youtube will contact you when they decide your channel is good enough to have you share in the profit you are making.

    I've noticed that recently they seem to be a little more relaxed and are allowing channels with small numbers of views (10,000 or so) to get adsense revenue sharing enabled. Before hand it seemed to be a lot higher (100-200,000).

    When you get your approval email note that they will ask whether you own copyrights on music and images used in the videos - If you cannot prove you own the rights to the content they may delete the videos. Keep that in mind.

    If you are just starting out be sure you own the rights to everything you are using in those videos to make it easy when you get approached.
