What is the worth of a PR0 page backlink on a PR5 site?

I would like to phrase my question as an example. Suppose i have two sites, a PR1 and a PR6. Now i want to build backlinks for a customer's site. What i do is go to both sites, create a new article on each site with the customer's link. Since the post pages will be new, they will be PR0 irrespective of the fact taht one is on a PR1 site while the other is on a PR6. My question is, will Google realize that the link from PR6 site is worth more? or it is just a PR0 backlink for Google?

I think the following: The strongest would be a direct link from the PR6 page itself, but it's definitely going to be worth more, even from a PR0, then another PR0 link with a homepage of PR0 too. So it's not THAT powerful, but it's still good for link juice. Hope that helps,
    Edward

The reason i asked the question was that BMR, when it publishes our articles, they get posted to a PR0 page. So does it really matter if the home page was a PR5 or PR1. Yes it does make a difference for a few says till the link remains on home page.

BMR does make a difference to search engine rankings so there's got to more worth for a PR0 link on a PR6 site. I just asked to find out if there was some specific info/authentic info on it.

I have also found that if an article is linked from a high PR homepage directly that the link juice will filter down to the subpage to a degree. Example, if you leave an article link on the homepage of a PR5, it's not uncommon to see that article become a PR1 or PR2 assuming the link remains on the homepage is not moved. Granted, in an ideal world, your link would remain on the front page of the PR5. That's why sitewide links are selling so well.

It seems logical to assume the link coming from PR6 spot tends to have more value compared with the other site but in addition to PR scores of websites homepages and domains, relevancy issues and using the proper linking patterns can also have big roles to play. For instance, if in your case you write a new article on your PR1 website closely matching the subject of your client's site and link to that, such a link will be very valuable indeed.

Selection of proper anchors for the links too can be among essential matters to note all the time. Even a link coming from a zero PR website that is originated from a page with contents similar to those of the link recipient, and the link itself has the right anchor, such a link can be better than getting another link from a high PR website and from a page which is absolutely unrelated to the niche in which client's site is functioning.

Yes, because new web pages have no pagerank but it gets PR if constant promotion is done.
