Did you guys receive Amazon Check for this month ? [Indians]

Hi,
I received an email on 31st January that my Amazon Check was sent... But I am yet to receive... How long does it usually takes... I am from India and is there any way to track the check status from India like adsense ??

 

Yes, I received mine just today. I'm from Mumbai, India.

There's no way to track status as they send check via normal US postal service.

It takes 15 to 20 days for checks to arrive. After you deposit in bank, it will take another 30 days for the check to clear.

Amazon pays in US dollars. They are converted into Indian rupees as per current market rates.

They send checks like these and you have to deposit in bank for clearance.

 

How many days does it take to receive the check after it appears on your Payment History that check has been sent?

 

It takes 10 to 15 days to receive their checks.

Wait for few more days. If you still don't receive it, then contact Amazon and ask to cancel current check and reissue fresh check.

You'll need to deposit the US dollar check into bank. The bank will verify and convert into your local currency.

 

Which bank accepts Amazon check? all banks or their a few banks accepts Amazon check?

 

Most government & private sector banks accept International checks.

 

Have any of you guys from India faced any issues from the banks with Amazon checks more than 2000 USD?

Got the check around 28th Feb.

Got it credited to my account within 2 days through AXIS Bank.

 

My 2 checks are missing. Amazon sent both checkes in January and March but I haven't received any. I usually receive my check within 3-5 days. My area post office is saying that they are not receiving International mails since january because of some problems.

Is anyone else having the same problem in Delhi?

 

Amazon checks can be deposited like normal checks?
