Nicki Minaj - 2012 GRAMMYs Performance - "The Exorcism Of Roman" I'm not a Nicki Minaj fan. And, I'm also agnostic. Yet, somehow this video just seems kind of grotesque. I found an article on MTV where she talks about it: I think everyone here would agree she's an "artist" and has freedom of speech. But, do you think it is considered more socially acceptable to mock Catholicism, than almost any other faith? Quoting the Catholic League may not be the best choice. I don't think they necessarily represent most Catholics. But I will anyway...
Blasphemy ? It looks to me like another 2cent performer trying to "shock the world" so that the world won't see how stupid and untalented she really is . In the US it's always OK to mock Christians but never mock any other religion unless you want to be called a racist , bigot or some other endgame word .
Agreed. It looks like many people didn't like it. Her "official" response was, “Stay offended. Not a single F**K is given.†Personally, I don't really care for her music anyway. It's not just this song.
What Minaj is doing, we have a word for that.. It's called attention whoring.. Talking about it is giving her exactly what she is aiming for - publicity. I don't know a single sane person who likes her or her songs. Only teenagers, retards and brain dead monkeys.
I don't know this person, don't watch the grannies ceremony, and I really don't care about any of this, but I like to express my opinion on any topic.
