I am new at buying and selling domains and websites. What is the best way to find a buyer for your website?
You can search buyer for website and domain. Or adverting on different directory So you can easily get buyers.
there are many ways, 1) Domain Auctions Portals, you can list your domain name to be auctioned 2) eBay; for the complete website 3) Webmaster Forums (DP, SP, WF etc), for everything.
This is a very good Question , and one that many is exporting especially thos ethat make a living doing so , here is my 2 cent worth if it worth anything . 1 1. Ask yourself why are you doing this , if it cos you enjoy doing so or is just cos for the money . 2 . when you know your reason of doing so , you would have to promote your services or product in related niche market that you target . it can be over forum . that is related to your niche or you can just places ads on Adwords or other sources of ads like Facebook . 3. The best way to get people to come to you is Words of mouth , simply do a good job and provide something well worth it value and people will refer new customer to you . 4. Direct sale . This work for Domain and i had done it before . Eg. i search for a Domain name - ( just an example but not related ) www.ryan.com so after i got the domain , i can try to contact anyone by the name RYAN and ask if there want to buy this domain for $XXXX of price . or you can get www.NyPizza.com or www.Texascar.com that is good brandable domain or related domain and when you secure it you can contact directly to sell the domain , i made about 1-2k from this before . but drop it cos it take up too much of my time and i hate renewing the 1000s of domain i own . but over all you do make money if you do it well and source of info daily . ------------------------------------------ and last but not least if you sell your website at 15% of it value buyer will be flooding to contact you , while if you trying to sell it at 3 time the value , chances is , you better be one hell of a sale man .
